If a child is coming in to see the "nurse only" to get 3 or more vaccines what is the best way to code this including admin codes and possible modifiers. Thanks

you can charge a nurse visit 99211-25, the immunizations and immunization administrations, 90471 & 90472.

Be careful... for example if a patient just goes in for a flu shot or shots needed for traveling abroad they do not equate to a visit as well.

That is correct, but in our practice the patients vitals are performed and documented, and the MA's ask the patients serveral questions before administering the injections. They always make sure the patient is feeling good before any injection is administered, and everything is documented.
