NNP billing critical care transport under MD

Good morning! I had posted a question awhile back in regards to NPs billing for critical care transport and did receive an answer. However, now it has gone a little deeper. Can an NP bill for critical care transport under the MD? I have researched this on the web and have not been able to find any information on it. I know, it is a physician's service, but I just don't know if they could bill it this way. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!

No for Medicare patients--the only provision for Medicare "incident-to" does not apply in your situation. Most private payers, who have their own policies, would probably give you the same answer.

Thank you so much! That is what I was thinking initially. Have a great day!
