Medicaid consults

Iowa Medicaid has finally gotten thier 2010 Physician fee schedule on line and consultations still have a payment amount. I am suprised, I assumed Medicaid would follow medicare. Any other medicaid carriers still paying/not paying consults?

This covers only fee for service Medicare, not Medicaid, commercials or Medicare HMO's. I think Medicaid plans (and commercials) take a long time to change policy. So far, I hear that the Medicaid programs and most commercials are still paying for consults in 2010.

2011 will be another question, in my mind.
