bronchoscopy

Please can someone let me know if 31623 and 31624 are bundled or not. when i process a claim 31628,31624,31623 and 31627, all the codes were paid except 31623. Medicare denied 31623 - stating that it is bundled with 31624. Pleae clarify me on this....

31623 and 31624 are not bundled but it would seem to me that you would code the most extensive procedure (31624). If you have documentation stating the medical necessity of both procedures then appeal it.
