When a patient comes in for a visit unrelated to STD testing yet requests it is it appropriate to use diagnosis V74.5- Screening for STD?

It is a screening if the patient is asymptomatic. Question: were they exposed? (V01.6).
Code V74.5 is fine for the testing. V01.5 may be added if applicable, as well.
