CPT® code

I am wondering what code I would use for a right groin exploration. The doctor initially went in thinking the patient had a recurrent inguinal hernia, which turned out to be nothing.

I have not been able to find a code for groin exploration. I have used 49999 in the past even though I hate using unlisted codes.
