Comprehensive exam
Our regional MAC recently stated that a 1995 comprehensive examination included only the examined and documented systems, and did not include any additional body areas that are examined and documented. Is that correct? It is interesting the physician would not receive credit for all sites examined.

For a comprehensive exam, 8 organ systems, not body areas are required using the 1995 Guidelines.
