99386,99387,99396,99397

Can someone please tell me that 99386, 99387, 99396,99397 are covered by selectcare of taxes/ Taxen Plus or not? as it is a Medicare Plan and following Medicare Guide lines.

Is this a Medicare replacement plan?? I don't know that plan specifically, but the Medicare Advantage plans in my area do cover the 993xx codes, and they also cover the medicare annual preventive visits like the IPPE and AWV (G0402, G0438, and G0439).

The 993xx codes ARE NOT covered by medicare, so they do not have to, but most replacement plans do....you should really call them and ask them directly.

This is actually Taxen Plus and we were having cap contract with Slectcare of Taxes. BUt we found that Medicare is not covering these codes so we changed but actually these codes were supposed to be paid FFS instead of Cap. I was wondering if replacment code is effecting this as we are receiving payment of G0438 and G0439 in capitation and I want them to pay these as FFS instead of Capitation. Thanks for all of your time and help.
