Problem condition, now resolved

If a patient comes in for their CC and states that as of today it has resolved but still wants the physician to examine them, can we still use the dx of that problem? I know we are not allowed to code resolved problems but if this was the reason they came in can we use that code? Or do we use the well/worried code?
