Pt has OA of ankle, UMR insurance denied frequency of CPT® 20605 to once a day and only paid one unit, pt was injected; talonavicular joint, intercuneiform joint, and first metatarsal medial cuneiform, are they right (dx is 715.27?) Thank you

I have been out of that field for two and a half years now but I do remember that being an issue where we would bring patients in on separate days for injections.. specifically... bringing people with bilateral osteo of knees in on separate days for left and right. Other payers will pay for more than one injection on the same day, but some will not.
