L3000 charge

I'm trying to gauge what other offices are billing for this code. It is "Foot, insert, removable, molded to patient model, 'UCB' type, Berkeley shell, each" Please let me know, Thanks!

This is a DME code, and so isn't in the Medicare Fee Schedule--I don't have any helpful info, sorry.

Frank Cohen has a file on his website with the average charge billed by all physicians to Medicare (from Medicare's data) by CPT code.

You can download it from

www.mitsi.org

Go to downloads.

It helps for all services submitted to Part B.

Wish we could help you.

I know, I"m sorry--I should have made it clear. I looked there first, but just mentioned it because it was a great resource.

I don't know the source of DME data.

Found it

I was able to track down Medicare's DME fee schedule-this has every states reimbursement listed on it

We bill $210 for each unit, so if the patient needs one for each foot the total is $420.
