How would you code for bounding femoral pulses and
sporadic pattern ABD events? this is a one month old baby.

bounding pulse is a good thing, it means a strong pulse. Sporatic pattern in abdomen could mean that it was difficult to feel continiously. It may not necessarily mean this is a problem. Depending on the cc and rest of supporting documentation if this is a bad problem you could code 427.89 (other symptoms involving cardio system). If cc was for concern of heart and doc said the findings were normal you would code V65.5 (feared problem was found to be normal state)
