Peritoneocentesis cpt code 49080 vs 49081

If pt has a peritoneocentesis by an ED Attending (49080) one day & the next day has a repeat peritoneocentesis by a different service, would you still code it as subsequent procedure 49081?

subsequest peritoneocentesis

From what I recall the AMA defines subsequent peritonencentesis to be used when a second peritoneocentesis done on the same date of service and assumes that the needle and catheter are still in place. If the pt returns for another peritoneocentesis at a later date requiring the placement of a another needle and catheter, the initial code would apply.
