Peroneus brevis repair/tenosynovectomy
1. Right peroneus brevis and longus tenosynovectomy.
2. Right peroneus brevis repair.
Dr. billed 27665 for the peroneus brevis repair and 27680x2 for the peroneus brevis and longus tenosynovectomies.
I know AAOS states that 27680 is included in 27665 "except for a different pathologic dx". My question is: Can I bill 27680x1 for the peroneus longus tenosynovectomy because it is a "separate tendon" than the peroneus brevis???
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!
