PEG adjustment

Doctor saw an established patient in consult at the hospital. Patient had a PEG tube in place for nutritional support prior to our doctor seeing her. Consult requested because of clogging of the PEG tube.

PEG tube was indeed clogged. The doctor cut the tube, used a spring-tip guidewire to clear the obstruction, irrigated the tube, and reattached the feeding adapter to the cut end of the tube. All of this was done at the beside, no endoscopy was needed.

Question...can I bill for the PEG adjustment? I cannot find an appropriate code. Or is the adjustment included with the consult code?

Thanks!
