OB Triage

Our physicians see our OB patients in the hospital for OB Triaging. If the patient has commercial insurance, are these covered under the global fee? reutov

When my doctor see an OB patient in the hospital we are paid for the service unless the patient delivers within 72 hours of the stay, then it gets a little harder to get paid for the visit. I have also learned that you have to bill an observation visit or inpatient stay.
