Consult w/Audio
Can someone please clarify this for me? Is it ok to bill an office consult/or established patient visit WITH and audio using only one diagnosis (389.20 hearing loss)?
I know we can't bill for an E/M when only removing wax with only impacted cerumen as the diagnosis. Wondering if the audio and office visit with one diagnosis is the same concept...
Thank you,
Sheri

Yes, it is ok to bill an E&M code with an audiogram using only one diagnosis.
