Spine injection for diagnosis purposes

Provider wants to use the facet joint injection code for the following: patient is 1 year s/p l-spine arthrodesis and is experiencing l-spine pain. We suspect is it from the retained hardware and want to perform a diagnostic injection to determine if the hardware is the cause of the pain.

Any thoughts on what the most appropriate code sould be?

You don't give much information to go on - might want to look at the 64470-64476 series of CPT codes for facet injections.
