Diagnosis for Rhogam injections

We have received a denial from one of our insurance carriers for Rhogam injections when using the Z67.91- Rh negative. Reason for denial is that the z code is a supplemental code. Prior to ICD10 we used V07.2 Need for prophylactic immunotherapy. I took the ICD 10 Book to our provider and was looking at O36.0191 but he said that under the heading of O36.0 it states Maternal care for rhesus isoimmunization (with hydrops fetalis) so it would not be the correcte code. Help anyone what is the correct DX code to use for Rhogam injections for patients that are RH negative. So appreciate the help.

I believe you would want O36.09_ depending on which trimester Maternal care for other rhesus isoimmunization. and I would add the z code as the secondary. I hope that helps.
