What HCPCS code to bill when using .5ml/80mg vial of Depo Medrol?
Our practice uses .5ml/80mg vial of Depo Medrol when doctor orders 40mg of Depo Medrol. If we bill the J1030 for 40mg we are denied NDC invalid because the NDC is for the 80mg/ml strength. Would we bill the J1040 with .5 units so the NDC and the HCPCS match?
