CPT® 90738

We billed CPT® 90738 to Medicare and it's denying because it's a status I code which states Medicare uses another coder for reporting of, and payment for these services. Does anyone know which code we should be billing to Medicare?

Non-Covered code 90738 - Japanese encephalitis virus vaccine, inactivated, for intramuscular use.

The above procedure code represent immunizations that are considered routine preventative immunizations or they are not a disease entity endemic in the United States and therefore are not covered by Medicare.
