Renal Dialysis Patient

This is a new one for me.

Patient schedules appointment with physician. Patient wishes to establish medical care and presents a complaint of 1) renal failure 2) diabetes, 3) hyperlipidemia.

We have received a denial from Medicaid indicating that our service are included in his dialysis services; yet, we are not the provider providing the treatment. I’m currently looking at Medicare’s benefit manuals (8 & 11) but I hope to receive a condensed version of the answer if someone already has it on the tip of their tongue.
