iliohypogastric, ilioinguinal and genitofemoral nerves

Having issues finding CPT® code for excision of these nerves via electrocautery in the groin. The Surgeon initially incised the area to get down to his location to clean up a hernia repair gone wrong by someone else. I have been searching code section 64600-64681. No tumor was found on the nerves. CPT® seems to skirt all around the lumbar nerve plexus, unless I need to go with 64681. I am exploring 27035 as a possible choice. Even though 2735 is listed under the incision section, I think I am ok due to the code description "denervation." No code choices found under the excision section of this code range for the nerves affected. My last resort is the unlisted code 64999. What are your thoughts? Thanks for the ideas.
