Help! This is a hard one...

i work for and ENT. He has another buisness for HEARING AID testing and sales of hearing aids. Patient came into the hearing aid side... We have a audiologist that sees the patients under main doctor name however, patient came in for a hearing aid check and hearing aid is out of warrenty so usually we charge a $25.00 charge. However patient has Medicare and a secondary. Secondary stated MCR will deny but they will pick up payment... BUT WHAT CODE DO I USE>>> someone came up with a V code but it is listed for MCR part A only... My doctor is listed as Part B... Any help would be great.. Just keep in mind that patient did not come in for a normal office visit on the ENT side.. he just saw the audiologist for hearing aid check.. Could we do a 99213 with a modifer to reduce services?

Why not use the Hearing aid check codes? 92592 or 92593?
