Pqri - use of g8443 to show a script was submitted via e-rx

Hello. My questions is if a patient calls in to receive a refill of their meds and a refill done via e-sripts can I submit this with the date of refill as the date of service with g8443? I'm not sure if the patient has to be physically seen for this refill to count. Thank you, bonnie

G8443 is not longer a valid code. for 2010, use G8553.

This may only be submitted with a visit, not for a refill.
