clonidine

Hi,

Our doctor is a PCP and we were getting encounter form with clonidine 0.2 mg tablet. we are billing professional claims. Do we have to bill for this tablet given.

was this given in-hospital/in-clinic? or was this a presription for the med?
Unless in-hospital or in a MHCrisis Facility, this is an unusual(?) single administration of a med?

If from the clinic's own pharmacy supplies, then I suspect you'd need to bill to reimburse the meds as well.
