Modifier 51

I work for a group of oral surgeons and we do alot of orthognathic surgery. When we bill the insurance company for upper jaw 21141 and lower jaw 21196 on the same patient....is it appropriate to add modifier 51 to the 2nd procedure since we're doing multiple surgeries at same session??
