RN Services
Can a physician bill for services rendered by a RN who doesn't have an NPI number? For example: Nail Trimmings that meet medical necessity. Where can I find documentation?

re: RN Services
As long as the provider was present in the facility that the procedure was performed at, you can bill for the services. the procedure code would be 11719 and the provider needs to sign the documentation as are using his NPI # and he needs to attest to the fact that he was aware of the procedure being done. A RN can only bill a 99211.
