PT modifier for screening colonoscopies

If removing polyps by 2 methods, snare and cold bx are you putting the pt on both codes such as 45385/PT and 45380/59PT

Yes, if t was a screen to begin with.

I do not put PT on the second procedure code, only 59. I got denied for putting PT on both. Have no trouble getting paid now.

I guess it depends on what geographic location. I get paid applying PT on both.
