Billing J7325 with LT and RT Modifier and 20610 with modifier 50

Is it appropriate to bill J7325 with modifiers LT and RT with quantity of 48 each? We are currently experiencing denials due to MUE's and charging with modifier 50-identifying a bilateral procedure was done. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Since the J code is a medication code, there is no reason to bill on separate line items. When I am charging bilaterally, I use the 50 modifier on the 20610 and the total amount of medication injected on another line. I have not seen any problems with this.
