I've been getting my 84403 denied due to it being mutually exclusive to another procedure.......Does anyone know what 84403 is mutually exclusive to? Thanks in advance

what other procedures are you billing with the code, labs codes are usually only exclusive to other lab codes as they can be bundled into another lab code, more information please:)

The above codes were all billed together.....

per the CPT® 2015 book under pathology and Laboratory, you should not bill 84403 in conjuction with 80327 or 80328 to identify anabolic sterod testing to testosterone. that is what is kicking out your claim.
