DOS 10/1/15 > Any payments/responses yet?

Our office is usually paid as early as three days after electronic submission and we haven't seen any yet for claims 10/1 forward. I realize it's early, but I'm curious to know how it's going for other practices...??

Three days for payment really? That is awesome. We have never from any payer received payment in less than 10 to 14 days. What carrier has that quick of a turn around?

Yes, really. As it is not the rule for all payers, Blue Shield quite often responds in just a few days. It is remarkable, I agree. So, does this mean you haven't heard anything back yet? Good, bad or otherwise?

It just so happens as soon as I completed my inquiry I received a fax with a couple rejections from the clearing house, (requesting additional digits) Incredible timing...lol.

No have not received any payments this far but I was truly thinking since turnaround time prior to ICD10 was normally 2 weeks, it will be realistic to get payment in 3 to 4 weeks. It is really a waiting game. (and not a game I like playing.)

Getting payments for 10-1 from BC/BS of Tennessee. No problems yet. Specialty gastroenterology. Did have a rejection for having a duplicate ICD 10 with 2 different ICD 9 codes. ODD

Good info, thanks :o) What a difference a few hours make...I have some payments from Anthem for 10/1 & 10/2. Nothing too involved; flu vaccines and O.V., so far, so good. We're in CA and a pediatric practice.

I don't like waiting either. It seems though that claims are being paid, let's keep our fingers crossed it continues smoothly! :o)

We are in MA, I've checked some claims BCBS of MA, Masshealth and Health New England. They are in paid status on the website, but no checks yet! Still excited to see they are paying them!

I have recieved payments from BCBS, form 10/01/15, nothing special, o.v. and some testing. I am in Fl.
