Can you bill for more than one bone graft per operative session and get paid for more than one graft?

If you are talking about spine bone grafts - CPT 20930-20938 - the answer is yes. You may bill each code up to once per operative session. But if you do a single code more than once, you can bill only one time. In terms of payment, Medicare assigns 0 RVUs to 20930 and 20936 but some payors do reimburse. The other codes - 20931, 20937, 20938 - are paid.
