Prissma 90947

If an in-patient HAS DIALYSIS PROCEDURE CPT® 90945 and later that day the same

physician has to re-evaluate patient on prissma dialysis can you charge for a

second procedure? Does Medicare allow a second procedure with a modifier. I

would think you would use CPT® 90947 which is dialysis procedure with repeated evaluation.

I had another coder ask me this?
