malunion of proximal finger fracture

A patient with a malunion of a finger fracture was taken to the OR for repair. The finger was shortened and had a large spike sticking out next to the PIP joint. The surgeon documented: "I performed an osteotomy with an osteotome and freed the fracture back loose and basically refractured it and osteotomized it. I then cleaned the bone edges, held reduced with bone clamp and placed 2 lag screws for very secure fixation."

He wants to bill 26567 - Osteotomy
26735 - ORIF proximal phalanx

Is there a more appropriate way of billing this?
