does anyone know the rules about labs done in office that can't be done due to the patient involved in a skilled nursing facility period?

Consolidated billing. If the labs are included in PPS, then you bill the SNF.

Labs/services on a patient in skilled nursing facility

I believe labs are included in the payment to the nursing facility. You have to check Medicare's website (Nancy provided the link)
