What CPT® code would be used to report a visit to the doctor 2 weeks after major surgery?

If it is only a post-op visit, we use 99024 for internal auditing purposes. It doesn't get sent out on a claim. Major surgeries are typically 90 day global periods. If the patient came in for a different reason than the surgery, you can bill an e/m visit and use -24 modifier to show it's unrelated to global period of surgery.
