Timely Filing

Hello, I am wondering if there is a way to get paid on "timely filing" claims. The reason I ask is because all of our Medicare claims were held up for a little over a year due to some NPI issues the last Billing Manager was dealing with. Shortly after I took her place, the issue cleared up and we are now billing and getting paid from Medicare. I'd like to see if I could submit the old claims that we lost out on.

It depends upon the Provider's status with Medicare during that period.. If the issues were unsettled at that time, most probably Medicare won't process those claims. But give a try with TFL proof..
