viral syndrome

If a diagnosis is listed as "viral syndrome," but the symptoms are headache, body ache, throat pain, runny nose, and cough, should I code 079.99 or 465.9? I assume 079.99 since that's what is documented, but since this looks more like a URI in symptoms, just not sure. Thanks.
