Wound Care

We are a small rural clinic and have a few wound care patients. The majority of these patients are moderate-complex wounds; some are simple and a couple complex ones. Right now, our nurses are taking care of these wounds. Since we cant bill nursing visits, what is your procedure at your centers in order to bill these wound care patients? Our providers dont seem to have the time to come in and just make sure everything is going well but the patient does get scheduled weekly to check on that patient. At this time, we are not billing the wound care. Any suggestions?
