Need help!!!

Can anyopne help me find a CPT® code for a Herpes B Culture that was taken from an eyelid? The patient received an abrasion on their eyelid while in an animal facility. We are testing for Herpes B.

Are you billing for the test itself? Or, obtaining it and sending it to the lab. If the latter, the lab will bill for it.

If you are billing it yourself, you need to check with your vendor for how the test is being done. I'd look at 87207 if you are performing the pathology. Check with your vendor, though.
