Multiple Stress Tests

Scenario: Patient had an "exercise" stress test done at the hospital. Our doctor supervised the test and also did the interpretation. We billed 93016 and 93018; which is the appropriate billing and dx of 786.05. But, after his findings, he determined the patient should now have the Cardiolite stress test done. So, 8 days later the patient had the Cardiolite test done. Our provider again supervised the "exercise" portion of the test. Can we bill for this? We did bill again with the same codes 93016 and 93018 and added dx of 794.30. However, the insurance is denying stating that 2 tests cannot be performed within 180 days. IS THERE A MODIFIER WE SHOULD HAVE USED ON THE 2ND TESTS, OR CAN WE NOT BILL FOR THIS? Thank you
