Nursing Vs Personal Care

We have a facility that uses 33 POS for Personal Care facility. Our biller just sent out a claim coded as a nursin admit w/ the POS 33. Is there a differenct CPT code?

There are a few POS codes you should look at in the front of the CPT® book:
12 Home
13 Assisted living facility
14 Group home
31 Skilled nursing facility
32 Nursing facility
33 Custodial care

Look at CPT® codes 99304--99318 for skilled and long term care services.

99324--99337 for rest home, Assisted living, domiciliary care.

99341--99350 for home services.
