stent removal

the patient is status post laparoscopy, surgical cholecystectomy on 9/9/2011. Our provider billed for a sent removal on 11/11/2011, CPT® 43215 upper GI endoscopy w/ dx code V44.8. Medicaid denied the procedure due the dx code. I'm not sure what dx code to bill with... can I bill with one of the following:

998.9 unspecified complication of procedure not elsewhere classifiedi billed or
935.1 foreign body removal?

the documentation does not mention any complications with the stent.
