Is there a history of diverticulitis code if the patient had a sigmoid colectomy already and needs a completion colonoscopy as patient never had a full colonoscopy because of sigmoid stricture from his diverticulitis which resulted in colectomy?

Try this...

V12.79 would be history of other specified disorders of the digestive system. This would probably be as close as you're going to get. V15.29 may also work, it is listed as history of surgery to other organs.
