Dialysis unit for regular hemodialysis treatment for chronic renal failure. It was noted that his venous cannula was clotted and a declotting procedure was performed with a balloon catheter. The hemodialysis then was performed. How would I code this? Would V56.0 be the correct code for egular hemodialysis treatment for chronic renal failure?
