please help

My Drs PA does laser treatment and they are all cosmetic. However she has one pt who has insurance and she wants to recieve treatment for Hyperpigmentation on her face with a cynosure affirm laser. I dont know where to look to find the correct CPT® code to call the insurance to see if it is covered. It occured as a result of pregnancy. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You

The CPT® book has code sets for lesion destruction, and inflammatory skin diseases. Call your laser vendor to see if they can help. The treatment might be considered cosmetic, and not covered (anyway) - check her benefits.
