Post Colonoscopy & EGD procedures

I wanted to know if I am to charge an office visit and copay when a patient comes in for follow up visit from a colonoscopy or EGD. I have been told you can and I've been told not too. Which one is correct?

An EGD and colonoscopy do not have a global period so in essence you CAN bill for followup office visits but as a rule I don't bill for followup visits as usually all my general surgeons do is give them any path results they might have and basically ask them how they are doing and if they have any questions. They really don't do an examination. So, I guess I would ask your doctors how they want to handle it.
