Kennelog shots

I just started working for a ear nose and throat physician. I am confused on how to charge for a kenelog shot. Here is how the practice was doing it but j3301 and 96372 are being bundled. They are also not charging 20610?? I thought we should if doing injections?
here is example on how they are charing
96372 $33.00
j3301 $12.00
95117 59 $27.00

how can I assure that j3301 and 96372 will not be bundled? Also, should I be billing 20610... Anyone please help...

re: KENNELOG SHOTS

Which insurance you are getting denials from? I am working for Reumatalogist and I am facing denials of 96372 and 96401 from MCR then I found that we need to bill KX modifier with 96372 and also need to bill drug for with administration is done. I am billing drug with 0.00 amount because we received drug form patient but we are adding this info in ramarks also. Your codes should not be bundled, you need to discuss this with CSR why are they denying and moreover 20610 would be bundled with 96372 and we cannot bill 20600, 20610 with 96372.

re: KENNELOG SHOTS

Thank you for your response. I tried to find my responses and I couldnt and now that I changed my settings this one finally came up. The insurance is denying saying the kennelog is bundeled. We provide the medication and do not get it from the patient. How would we bill? Can we bill a 20610 with it?

re: KENNELOG SHOTS

I jsut want to make sure I am clear. so we can bill 96372 J3301 and 20610? any modifers? That brings me to my next question my clearing house is denying the J3301 code. won't let it pass thru. Is it because of the NDC number needs to be on the claim? does anyone know the NDC number?

re: KENNELOG SHOTS

You can bill all of these but they will bundle 96372 with 20610. And I believe you need to bill these once you got a denial then you can adjust 96372 because Medicare does not allow both administrations together. About NDC I am not sure what will be the NDC you need to confirm this from you provider as what brand he is using because NDC also depends upon that.

re: KENNELOG SHOTS

I don't know the NDC code but you can find it on the bottle of kenelog. Was there 2 separate injections or just the large joint injection? 96372 is included in the 60210.
