Hypertension secondary to?

Hypertension secondary to atherosclerosis?
Would you code the I70.90 and the I10 or would it be I59.9.

All of a sudden the CRNP's and MD's are saying hypertension secondary to
something but are not elaborating on the something. I am ready to throw something at all of them. These are NF patients that we see and now they all have hypertension secondary to something.

Explain is the something first and then use hypertension I10 or I59.8 or I59.9

So confused. Please help.

If that is all the information you have then it would be I70.90 and I10. I am not finding a I59 code.
